Guidance & Counselling Services

Guidance & Counselling Services

We have all been created by God with great potential and certain basic needs that must at least be partially satisfied to experience wholeness in our lives. There are situations encountered in our lives on a daily basis that becomes a barrier to each individual experiencing this wellbeing. Some of these basic needs are physical such as food, water, rest and exercise however in addition to these needs we have psychological and emotional needs. Just as our body is dependent on meeting the physical needs so mental health is dependent upon meeting psychological and emotional needs.
Therefore, are you having a hard time coping with your studies and assignments, personal life, relationships, family issues, addictions, time management, prioritizing, grief and loss, etc. and would like a listening ear so you could gain fresh new perspective of things at the same time be able to find more strength in yourself, in others and most importantly God, than please do not hesitate to come by and talk with the counsellor at our Counselling Room located at the current library extension here at Sonoma Adventist College.
