The department is committed to providing a three year Diploma program of studies to the students. Students undertaking this program and plan in the future to proceed to the completion of a degree in Theology are advised to take the Greek language elective as part of their sequence of studies. Graduates from the Diploma of Ministerial Studies who have not taken the biblical Language elective and who later wish to proceed into degree studies in Theology would need to complete the language requirement as a prerequisite to admission into the Theology degree.
The Ministerial Studies Course is designed to develop students for Pastoral
Ministry in both the rural and urban Adventist Churches and communities
at large in PNG and in the Islands of the Pacific.
